極細のウール糸を超高密度に織り上げるマックスウールギャバジンは、独特なハリとコシからシワになりづらく上品なムードが特徴。コレクション内に常にラインナップするAURALEEのスタンダードマテリアルです。

Key Method

１.とにかく細く、繊細な糸
同じウールでも使う糸の細さや長さによって、仕上がりの質感は変わります。ここで使われるのはスーパー140sと呼ばれる細く柔らかい上質なウール糸。毛髪の1/4ほどの細さです。

2. 高密度の綾織り
生地のタフさと表面のツヤ感が特徴の綾織り。細く繊細な糸を使い、限界まで隙間なく織り上げることで、上品なツヤは残しつつ、しなやかで柔らかい触り心地に。

シンプルな織り方を限界まで高いクオリティで。ここでの綾織りも、通常よりも手間のかかる組織で織られる。

3. コーティング
液剤による加工。柔らかい生地にハリを出すことで肌ばなれがよく夏でも涼しい生地に。ウールの産地として知られる愛知県・一宮の作り手が開発した特殊技術を用いています。

Thick and soft wool gabardine

Ingredients

Max wool gabardine, made by weaving ultra-fine wool yarns into an ultra-high density, is characterized by its unique firmness and elasticity. It is wrinkle-resistant and it brings an elegant mood. It is a standard material for AURALEE, and it is always included in their collection.

Key Method

1. Ultra fine and delicate yarns
The finished texture of the same wool yarn will vary depending on the fineness and length of the yarn used. The yarn used here is called Super 140s. It is a fine, soft, high-quality wool yarn. It is about 1/4 the fineness of a hair.

2. High-density twill weave
This twill weave is characterized by the toughness of the fabric and the luster of its surface. By using fine and delicate yarns and high-density weave, the fabric is supple and soft to the touch while retaining an elegant sheen.

Simple weaving with high quality to the limit. The twill weave here is also woven in a more complex structure than usual.

3. Coating
Processing with liquid agents. The soft fabric is made to feel comfortable against the skin and cool even in summer. It is made possible thanks to a special technology developed by craftsmen in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, known for its wool.
