A gabardine made of 100 % linen ultra-fine count yarn, woven slowly and over a long period of time on a special loom to a very high density.
Since the threads are too fine to be woven as is, water-soluble vinylon, which increases strength, is wrapped around the threads and melted after weaving.
The fabric is then repeatedly beaten and washed to give it a soft texture.
It has an uneven look and a smooth feel.
